This Privacy Policy outlines how FORSA handles the personal information provided by Opportunity users throughout their period of use, whether in terms of disclosure, distribution, destruction, or use.
All FORSA users are referred to as "User(s)" or "You" interchangeably throughout this Privacy Policy. Users, for the purposes of this Privacy Policy, should include anyone, whether a natural or legal person, who uses, accesses, views, browses, records, or submits to FORSA.
Privacy and User Data Protection
Password Responsibility:
- You are solely responsible for all activities, obligations, and damages resulting from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your password.
- You agree to promptly notify FORSA of any unauthorized use of your password or any security breach.
- You also agree that FORSA cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your password.
- You agree not to provide your username and password together to any third party other than FORSA without express written permission from FORSA.
Account Information: You must keep your account information (e.g., username and verification number) up-to-date and accurate at all times, including a valid email address and mobile phone number.
Account Transfer You are not allowed to transfer or sell your FORSA account and your username to another party or sell any services related to the use of the FORSA mobile application, such as automatic likes, followers, or user reviews.
Data Collection Policies
- FORSA uses personal data provided by users in a manner consistent with the detailed user data protection and privacy policies in these terms of use. For example, if you contact us by email or any other means of correspondence, we will use the personal data you provide to answer your question or resolve your issue. If you purchase or exchange goods using Frsaa, we will use the data you provide to complete the transaction.
- FORSA may also use your personal data and other non-identifying personal information collected through our services (interests on the application, category of posted items) to help us customize our services, improve the content and features of our services, understand user preferences, and prevent fraud.
- FORSA may use this information to communicate with you regarding our current services and features or to inform you of services that we believe may be of interest to you. If we do so, any marketing communication we send to you will contain instructions allowing you to "unsubscribe" from receiving future marketing communications. In addition, if you wish at any time to not receive any future marketing communications or if you want to remove your name from our mailing lists, please contact us.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
- FORSA uses a variety of technologies to help us better understand how people use our applications and services.
- FORSA uses cookies for several purposes, including but not limited to accessing your information when you log in, tracking preferences you specify, displaying the most relevant content based on your interests and activity on Frsaa, estimating the overall size of FORSA's audience and user engagement, and conducting reports and research to improve the content and services we provide.
- FORSA may engage in partnerships with third-party service providers who may use various tracking technologies, such as browser cookies or Flash cookies, to provide certain services or features. These technologies allow the partner to recognize your mobile device or computer each time you visit Frsaa, but they do not allow access to FORSA's personally identifiable information.
- FORSA does not have access to or control over these third-party technologies, and they are not covered by our privacy statement.
User Information Usage
- FORSA will not sell or disclose your personal data, such as your name, email address, or other personal information, to third parties without your explicit prior consent.
- Your FORSA username may be publicly displayed and linked to your FORSA activity. Other users and visitors of the system can view information from your profile, including followers, following, listed items for sale, sold items, and reviews.
- FORSA automatically receives and retains some information while you browse the app from your mobile device, such as IP address, location, purchases, and user behavior, along with other information like mobile network provider and preferred language. Some users may choose to link or register their FORSA account using an external third-party application, such as Facebook, Apple, or Google.
- FORSA may receive data from these applications to complete the registration process. Linking your Frsaa account to external applications or services is optional. When connecting your account to external applications, Frsaa will provide you with the opportunity to read the required permissions and grant or deny access to this information.
- FORSA uses the information outlined in these terms of use to provide and improve its services and products for identification and authentication purposes. It may also use the information to communicate with users or interested parties, conduct public research, and compile aggregate reports.
- FORSA is governed by Kuwaiti law regarding data collection and privacy obligations, especially the Kuwaiti Cybercrime Law, Law No: 63/2015, irrespective of any other applicable laws to which Frsaa may be subject.
- FORSA must collect user information to provide the necessary services, products, and support through its platforms.
- Not all user information collected by FORSA should be interpreted as personal information, as some users may submit more information than others depending on the types of services they use.
- User information collected directly from FORSA may include, but is not limited to:
- Username Password, Profile picture, Email address, Phone number, Address, Timezon, Full name, Colored copy of government-issued identification, Personal photo, Proof of address
- Payment transaction details, Business documents, User profile information, User reviews
- User messages, Users may also allow FORSA to connect to their Google, Apple, or Facebook accounts.
- FORSA may collect user information from core systems, provided that users agree to grant access to this information. FORSA may also collect user information from public sources or publicly available databases.
- User consent allows FORSA to collect descriptive data of various types, including:
- IP address, Computer contact information, Web page referral, Language settings, Device ID, Device type, Device attachments, Location, User actions on FORSA.
User information is used by FORSA and/or authorized third parties for the following purposes:
- Creating a user account
- Providing technical support
- Facilitating dispute resolution on FORSA
- Facilitating communication between buyer and seller
- Conducting data analysis
- Marketing FORSA's services and products
- Coordinating with third-party service providers
- FORSA may use user information for any other lawful reason, provided that such use requires the user's permission or prior consent. To access additional features on Frsaa, identity verification may be necessary. Users may be asked to provide a photo and a copy of a government-issued ID. Frsaa is prohibited, to the extent allowed by law, from disclosing or making available any information regarding third parties in relation to Frsaa's user identity verification process.
- In providing its services, FORSA may be subject to licensing and approval requirements by Kuwaiti and international governmental entities. When providing information to these agencies and authorities, FORSA may disclose user information. FORSA must also cooperate with any judicial or criminal justice authority and disclose user information to these authorities based on a legal request to do so.
- FORSA may notify users of its intent to disclose user information to these authorities, but nothing prevents Frsaa from complying with these legal requests. In delivering its services, FORSA may share and coordinate with third-party service providers. User information is subject to separate agreements between FORSA and these third parties.
- Users have the right to correct, update, and delete their user information by accessing their accounts.
